Gameweek 6 Scout XI

Goalkeeper - Vasilis Barkas

The Greek kicks off a full Old-Firm defence, as Celtic host a Motherwell side who have failed to score in four of their first five league games.

Defenders - James Tavernier, Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson, Greg Taylor

Rangers are five games into their season and still haven't conceded a goal, and with Barisic and Tavernier having 7 goal contributions between them, three Rangers defenders seems like the path to sucess.

Taylor had two assists in the opening game and with him averaging almost 8 crosses per game the assists will keep rolling in for the former Killie man.

Midfielders - Chris Burke, Ryan Hedges, Luke Bolton

Burke's scoring streak may have ended but his good play hasn't, and with Dundee United already conceding two goals this season from crosses, look for Burke who puts in 10 of them per game to be finding his teammates in the box.

Ryan Hedges is coming off a hattrick in midweek and with a goal and an assist in the two previous gameweeks he is a man in form.

It was a coin toss between Peter Pawlett and Bolton, as we think United will have success against the Killie backline, the man on-loan from Manchester City was the cheaper option, so he was our pick.

Attackers - Billy McKay, Christian Doidge, Jonathan Obika

Ross County travel to a Livi side struggling for form, McKay and Ross Stewart will be looking to take full advantage of a defence that has conceded two or more three times already.

With Nisbet looking to miss the game with an injury, Doidge will have to pick up the scoring burden.

Obika has scored in his last two games and faces a St. Johnstone side who have failed to keep a clean sheet so far this season.
