Aberdeen v St. Mirren - Friday 19:45
Lewis Ferguson (4.3) is currently in the golden boot race, having netted 4 times in only 7 games, however, all have been penalties. This doesn't appear to be sustainable long term as without VAR in Scottish Football, penalties will not be given at such a high rate.
The Buddies are on a poor run losing each of their last five games, and this doesn't look to change against the Dons.
Dundee United v Livingston - Friday 19:45
Lawrence Shankland (5.6) has been on fire since returning from injury, with two goals already. If you wanted to double up on United players I'd suggest looking at Argentinian left-back Adrian Sporle (2.4). He has two goal contributions so far, and with the Scotsman Shankland back in the middle to aim at, surely the assists will flow.
Livingston have the joint worst defence in the league conceding 14 times already this campaign and haven't won away from home this season, conceding in every game away from the Tony Macaroni.
Hibernian v Hamilton - Friday 19:45
After back-to-back games against the Old Firm, Jack Ross will be looking to get his side back on track and what a better time than against the Accies. Kevin Nisbet (5.3) has been playing incredible so far this season, with 5 goal contributions, as well as a goalscoring threat, he is a threat to create, with 1.14 chances per 90.
Hakeem Odoffin (2.2) has three goals to his name already, but it'll be hard for him to add to that total as the three goals Hibs have conceded when playing non-old firm teams have either come from penalties or free kicks.
Kilmarnock v Motherwell - POSTPONED
3 Killie players tested positive for COVID yesterday, taking their total to 6 this week, all of which have been players, this outbreak has lead the game to be postponed and played at a later date not yet announced yet.
St. Johnstone v Celtic - Sunday 12:00 - Sky Sports
This Saints team is so hard to understand, the potential to be solid defensively but make way to many mistakes. They create a lot of chances and can dominate the ball but can't seem to finish any of them. Continue with a formation that isn't working, and playing their best player out of position. Still haven't scored in the first half, and conceded first in 8 of their first 9 games this season. They face a Celtic team that have dominated them recently. It has been 951 minutes since they found the back of the net against the Hoops, in that time they have conceded 32 times, a streak that has to be unrivalled in all of football.
A major blow for fantasy players as Albian Ajeti (7.2) was ruled out for this game, but should be back for the Old Firm clash after the international break. Odsonne Edouard (8.4) has picked up where he left off after netting the only goal of the game against Sarajevo to send Celtic to the Europa League group stage, can he pick up the scoring load to keep the challenge for ten in a row on.
Rangers v Ross County - Sunday 15:00
Rangers clean sheet run is over, conceding twice against Hibs and then a late own goal against Motherwell that I'm sure cost us all. Cedric Itten (7.6) also opened his account last week netting twice off the bench, however with Alfredo Morelos (8.4) and Jermanie Defoe (5.5) also competing with him for the lone striker spot, gametime isn't guaranteed, getting sparing minutes off the bench again in Europa League. Another takeaway from the Galatasary game is that Borna Barisic (4.8) looks to be back in the side, and assisted James Tavernier's (6.1) winning goal.
County come into the game missing Iain Vigurs (3.7) who was dismissed in last week's 3-0 defeat to Aberdeen, in which the Staggies conceded 2 penalties. Obviously when facing the Old Firm we recommend leaving the players on the bench if possible.
Gameweek 10 Scout XI
With the Celtic's run against St. Johnstone you couldn't go wrong with tripling-up on their defenders and making them vice-captain, but it is hard to not make a Rangers fullback captain due to their attacking returns.
